Location

Firostefani is just only 700 metres north of Fira, (the capital of Santorini) and its name means the “crown” of  Fira.

Reverie is conveniently located in the village of Firostefani, just a ten minute walk from Fira,right outside the centre but close enough to easily wonder around. It is not situated on the Caldera’s edge but exactly above it .

The street in front of the Building  provides easy approach (no steps to walk down) and it  is very convenient in case you want to rent a car/motorbike or arrive by car, taxi or bus. There is also access to the traditional walkway which runs along the caldera side and leads down to Fira (or up to Imerovigli & Oia) with an amazing view to the sea, the volcano and the Cliffside.

The hotel's location is also well served with nearby mini markets, restaurants and cafes.

How to reach Santorini

- By plane
Santorini can be reached from Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos -http://www.aia.gr/) with a domestic flight (Aegean Airlines & Olympicair). The flying time from Athens to Santorini is approximately 40 minutes. Numerous charter flights from most international airports fly directly to the island during the summer period. During the same period Santorini is also connected with flights to and from Thessaloniki.

- By Ferry
Another way to reach the island is by ferry from the port of Piraeus, Crete and almost all the Cycladic islands. Daily high speed boats are also available only during the summer period leaving the port of Piraeus and numerous other Cycladic islands and Crete (www.openseas.gr). The duration of the trip depends on the ferry and the ports of call.

How to reach Reverie Apartments

- Using our Shuttle Service
You can easily reach Reverie from Athinios Port or the Airport, if you arrange a pick up service directly with us. We will be waiting for you at your arrival point, holding up a sign that says 'Reverie Traditional Apartments' and your name. In this case, we need your arrival details (arrival time & flight number or ferry’s name) at least one day prior to your check-in date.

- Arriving by Taxi or Bus
If you hop into a taxi from the Sea Port or Airport, you only need to say to the taxi driver the name of our hotel – Reverie in Firostefani. If you decide to take the bus to Fira town center and then changeover for Oia, ask the bus conductor for the first bus stop in Firostefani (just after Fira).
